Sushi on Friday.... another attempt, they are looking better but, still not as beautiful as you will find in the Japanese restaurants. I am proud of the attempt, however, next time I will use less Wasabi. I used a tad too much, and it blew our heads right off helped clear out the sinuses. We drank some sake to kill that fire and it was all good. Expat Son had Japanese soda pop.
The full meal... The salad is bok choy with green onion tops and Japanese seasoning, a mixture of seaweed and some crunchy cracker bits. The boys had bottle dressing, I went with fresh lemon juice and garlic. You could add olive oil I am watching my oil intake, so I did not use it.

My favorite but no fish eggs this time as I am trying to clean out the fridge before vacation time and I did not have the heart to open a new jar. I had the crab,avocado, mayonnaise and cucumber though.
