I love flowers, and I love that we have such a great climate for plants here in Southern China. Last week I went to the big plant market outside of town again. Every time I go the driver inwardly groans because he knows that we will be filling the van with a TRUCK load of plants. He even tells me next time we should hire a truck, why when we always make it fit, whether I have a friend along or just my golf clubs, which, was the case last week. It all fit again and we had 4 large plants 40 small plants, 4 big bunches of twisted bamboo and 8 assorted orchids, some coconut planter inserts let see about 40 of those or so.
This time I went with a different driver he had never been to this market and he was amazed! Amazed that I knew it and at all the great plants that were there and of my bargaining powers. Most of the sellers know me there and even comment that I come quite often. I love to be around all the plants and to see what is newly in season.
I leave you with a couple of photos of my favorites. I hope to take some photos in our garden later this week.
How can anyone feel bad, mad or sad with lovelies like these around the house...
