This salad was introduced to me by my friend Janine it is easy to make and very delicious with the sweet and sour soy dressing. It goes well with barbecued meats and we have had it with fish as well. You could even put cooked chicken in it and you would have a tasty meal in a bowl for those hot summer evenings you just don't want to cook.
I did change the recipe in that I cut back on the oil as it was a huge amount.

The weekend Bar B Que is usually supervised by GZ Expat. He usually starts the day asking what we are having for dinner and when I reply, 'I hadn't planned on it,' he usually removes a large piece of meat from the freezer.
This rib roast was one that he did on the BBQ. Very simple rub and easy to cook on our small Weber kettle grill. You can easily do this on any outdoor grill that you can cover. 
I served this with simple steamed carrots and Potato Salad with Capers and Olives
