Today is Expat Hubby's Birthday. Happy Birthday Hubby I love you!
Since Valentines is his birthday we don't celebrate Valentines day, we celebrate his birthday. When everyone else is going to a nice candle lit dinner and receiving flowers and candy, I am making birthday cakes,or pies and birthday dinners.
Yes, I am a little jealous that I don't get to celebrate Valentines Day like others do, however,I have not celebrated Valentines day in over 24 years, I will live.
Today I made these mini cherry pies, Hubby is not a cake guy, I also made chorizo buns, a roast beef, butter baked potatoes and salad. Appetizer is hot crab dip on pita bread.
Happy Valentines Day to those couples who celebrate!
Now to enjoy all that good food I have been cooking all day, with the Birthday boy and Expat Son.
